The positive signs are still there. And I AM being positive.

June 21, 2017 09:17AM
I am seeing those positive signs and not missing them. And there have been myriad signs since the acquisition of McVay.

But even if the tiller has been turned and the course changed for the better, a ship as large as an NFL team will often need more than one season to rise over 31 other teams who desire nothing more than a perfect record while every other team in the NFL flounders. And SO little need go wrong for this team to go back to the gutter even with a good coaching staff and promising players. Injuries, a surprise 16-0 team in our division, breakdown in untested rookies or the QB... so many things are *possible* to go wrong.

But Hey, I'm assuming that those things all go right or at least passably well.

Remember, the other players (and coaching staffs) get paid too. I believe the Rams are on the ascension now, for the reasons you gave. But don't you believe that the best record in over 10 years might be a good, positive sign? The best record even after 3 fired head coaches?? Hey that's hope right there.

I do think it's positive. 8 wins is a positive sign and a reason for me to be optimistic about the future.

Rams get zero love from PFF. They see Rams at 4 wins.

max780June 20, 2017 11:29AM

  who cares

PHDram295June 20, 2017 11:41AM

Huh. They did predict LA going 4-12 though

Rams will get respect when they earn it

promomasterj286June 20, 2017 02:29PM

  I'll take the over!

AlbaNY_Ram271June 20, 2017 05:52PM

An excellent example of why to take PFF wih a grain of salt...

Rams43311June 20, 2017 06:29PM

Would you have taken the over for 4 wins last year for a substantial wager?

max274June 21, 2017 04:11AM

I'd have taken it last year.

  4 is too low

RFIP250June 21, 2017 06:24AM

Similar, except I think 9 (not 8) is too high

ArizonaRamFan255June 21, 2017 06:44AM

  Nine is NOT too high...

Rams43232June 21, 2017 07:00AM

ArizonaRamFan250June 21, 2017 11:08AM

max245June 21, 2017 11:09AM

I see 6 as the floor and 9 as the ceiling

Totally legit till the Rams prove otherwise.
