On drafting Mack instead, Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda. But lets face it, The Rams needed a LT and coming out, Most if not all the draftniks said this kid was very good. you look at the tape and his athleticism and you say, WOW. This kid has some movement for a big man and has some strength to go with it.

For me though I believe with Grob its all about what's between the ears, when he was selected I sat there and listened to his interview and remember saying to myself, uh oh, this kid is sounding slow. He reminded me of Shaq when he spoke. But I decided to give him a shot and see what he can do. Turns out he has had trouble figuring out who to block and how to get himself to the right spot for the play. No mistaking though when he gets locked on a guy that guy is negated.

Maybe he just needed a different type of coaching? we will find out this season. If he feels like he is capable of being one of the best and works hard and Kromer can get through to him then he has a chance to resurrect what certainly looks like a bust of a career, or at the very least a short circuited one.

When I look at his penalties there are quite a few that truly are iffy at best, some that really shouldn't have been called and others that are definite penalties, and dumb ones at that. but none the less, I do not feel he deserved about 55% of the calls that went against him.

If Grob cannot get better under Kromer then he is done in the NFL, because no one has the teaching pedigree that Kromer has. So to Grob I say, Buckle up and work hard, don't rest on anything, get your butt ready to play hard this season, you have a great opportunity to turn things around as you have a completely new Staff, a new BIG time OT in Whitworth to learn from and a solid OLine coach.
