Left side seems clearly set plus Sully sounds like our new starting C. No big surprises at those 3 positions.
But the right side? I think Kromer is gonna be exploring lots of options at RG and RT.
.
Hav is at guard. That's not going to be tinkered with. The one open question is who starts at ROT.
....
I don't think any starter on the right side is yet written in stone, zn.
Yeah, Hav seems to be the front runner at RG as of mid second week of OTA's.
But GRob was the front runner at RT just last week.
Kromer will mix and match, I think. And he's probably just getting started. He wants to be very sure that he's starting his very best 5 come September.
Camp reports will start to give us some perspective, but that's still weeks away.
Both RG and RT are too early to call with any degree of certainty, imo.
Would tend to agree here.
Though Havs has his limitations at RT, I'd think/hope that Kromer could help him with some of his technique. Plus, I'm betting that Havs' early camp injury last season hurt his conditioning. Finally, considering his height, I'm still kinda concerned about his ability to get leverage against the more powerful interior D-linemen out there.
I can easily see a much-improved O-line consisting of Brown at RG and Havs at RT.
Promise you guys, Hav is set.
