Robinson is a true mystery.
He seems to have some real "want to".
He seems to want coaching.
He seems to be a good and decent young man.
He clearly has every physical attribute you could want to play the position.
That leaves only one thing: the mental aspect. But it is often said that in the Pros, it is the neck up that separates the good from the marginal.
Robinson talking about "making a few mistakes" as the reason Brown is getting an opportunity. This is the dead giveaway to me. This is his 4th season. He's played in a lot of games. And what has killed him is mental mistakes, and he's still making them to the point that they are giving Brown reps at RT? Very bad sign for Robinson.
I suspect that Robinson is going to be our swing back up OT at LT and RT. Or they move him inside to Guard. But I think swing OT makes the most sense.
And then gone next year when there is no cap hit.
If he doesn't get it by now, he's likely not going to.
And that, my friends, is the crap shoot that the draft is. Robinson was highly rated by everybody even if deemed more raw by some than others.
