Schefter says other teams were going to take him in the 2nd round, so there's that. It's not like Everett was not on the radar of top TEs in a great TE class.
Then we get the Jordan Reed comparisons. Everett's combine numbers were better than Reeds, faster, stronger, a bit bigger. Yet, I kept hearing that Reed is a superior athlete. I wonder what they would have said if Reed and Everett competed in at the same Combine.
