Could the smaller jerseys be PART of concussion issues?

I mean...These days, they are almost painted on the body they are so small and tight. I know even back in the 70s, they'd tape jerseys to pads but there was still something to grab. With players being bigger and faster and not much to hold onto, IMPACT is needed more than ever to "tackle". These days, all you see is head down hits and less heads up / grab and tackle.
