If Goff takes a big step up and shows that he's the franchise guy they anticipated then we move up significantly. If not, then its all semantics, we will continue to stink.
Anyone who watched a bad offense under Keenum come to a complete grinding halt under Goff realizes any offensive improvement begins and ends with Goff.
If he's good then the rest of the skilled players can be fairly judged.
If he's bad we will simply have no idea how good or bad the rest of the new toys are.
