As you may have read a couple of days ago, I told SpeedKills that I thought our rookie receivers would be used and would have at least some impact on the offensive production of this team. My main belief was simply that I think that McVay drafted them to use them now, not just as developmental guys down the road.
It's possible to believe that, however, and still believe that they'll have some rookie struggles and hiccups, and that the Rams will suffer for it at times.
I'm intrigued by the possibility that this HC and his staff can get offensive skill players going a lot sooner than our departed coaches could.
So yes, I do have hope.
