I mean, it's possible, I suppose... QB's probably throw harder, for one thing. Still... I tend to think 'catching' is a talent you don't lose UNLESS you are of the type to sign a contract - consider the whole football adventure over, and proceed to go through your first million as fast as humanly possible.
The struggles, I think, are "almost" entirely system related. New demands to not 'get open' but 'get open in precisely this manner'.
We read a lot these days about the QB's not being ready for the Pro's.. it's true. Different game. But I do wonder about 'coaching' and how far along today's coaches are at being able to transition a player from college to the Pros's... or perhaps more likely - be 'willing' to do that.. wanting, instead, to get "turn key" players. - JamesJM
