Schefter was really saying that when you match Watkins talent with staying injury free this coming year then if (when) he performs well on the field he will be highly sought after.
He has not, to my knowledge said same about GRob or any of the other 9 players who have not had their 5th year picked up, including Bridgewater who by a lot of accounts could be ready by game 7.
People here want this so badly to be about semantics "if any player plays well going to FA they will get a good deal..." when in fact Schefter understands the talent of Watkins + how many teams view him as a true #1 wr already, but that's ok if it makes people here feel better about how bad GRob is afterall "misery loves company" ...
