You're comparing a receiving TE in the Jordan Reed mold who will never be an H-back/in-line style blocker,. to an h-back type who could block inline and on the move and had good years catching the ball but would never be mistaken for a more fluid, quick receiving TE type.
You could actually play them both at the same time on the same line without either one ever doing the main things the other does.
