Who cares who's right or wrong about any of this? It would be very good for our Rams if GRob became a good player for us. He sure hasn't shined so far. I guess what I was trying to say is did he really get a fair shot? He left school early and his experience at Auburn was always run blocking and he was the best at that. Our Rams took him at 1-2 figuring they could put him at LG and coach him up at LT. Jake Long was out multi million dollar LOT and GRob played pretty well at LG beside him. The plan went horribly wrong when Long went down and GRob was thrown into the fire at LT. Then, Fish changes OCs and Boras has a whole new blocking scheme to learn.
It didn't work. Now, with our new HC we are back to plan A sort of. Whitworth will man LT and they will
Move GRob to RT. He might be fine there. I dunno. I'm hoping he's not a bust but can't see in trying to stick a dagger in him. He's on our team. He tries his best. He's a wonderful athlete. And I still have hope.
