Because you see his name in several 2nd rounds in mocks. CBS has him ranked as the 55th player overall, but never bothered to write up a profile. Since I don't follow these websites religiously I have no idea if that is the norm or not for a top 64 player. Seems odd. Same with NFL.com, just an overview. Like he was an afterthought until the combine and by then it was too late to do a decent write-up so neither bothered. LMU's mash up list has him averaged out to 62. I just find it hard to imagine everyone had him ranked 62 before the Rose Bowl, but never bothered to do a write-up. Now, you on the other hand, know your stuff. So I have no doubt you have had him pegged for a while.
He is seemingly all over the place. So maybe he is just one of those polarizing players that you either like or don't like.
I don't really follow the experts so I searched "Chris Godwin scouting report". Most are done in the last two months obviously but these two have him as a 2nd and 3rd rounder and were done before the combine so I wasn't the only one that noticed before the combine.
