well i cant speak to the medical but if there are indeed issues then yeah, ill pass.

in terms of size, hes not THAT small. hes 5 11, 190. While i too would prefer a bigger wr, there are plenty of wr at that size. plus i think it depends on what they want him to do. im of the opinion mcvay wants to recreate the redskins offense with the rams. that means alot of 11 personnel with TA was crowder, woods as garcon and somebody in the jackson role (i.e, deep threat to stretch the field). it doesnt have to be ross, but it could. they have similar game.

in terms of being blinded, im sure he got a boost with the 40, but its not like he wasnt being considered for the 1st early 2nd before running the time.

I coulda been more clear in my post, it's true. Here's my point, PHD.

A lot of us, including yours truly, fell in love with picking GRob because of his physical gifts. But we ignored how raw he was and how lacking in pass pro experience. It appears that he wasn't the most "football smart" player either. Yet, those freakish physical traits blew us away and blinded us to the pitfalls. At a cost that's hard to even measure, now.

Ross, too, has freakish physical traits. But what about the medical red flags? What about his size? What about the considerable loss of value in required picks for the tradeup?

I'm suggesting that some are becoming blinded by that 4.22 blazing speed and ignoring pitfalls once again.

Not me. Lesson learned.

Particularly if it would require a tradeup in this particular draft with our particular picks.

There will be numerous productive WR's available later in this draft. I'm hoping that S&M target one that fits McVay's O scheme design and develop him accordingly. Take full advantage of the player skillset and the coaches skillsets while allowing the draft to come to them.

Well, taking Ross at our #37 is one thing, PHD. I wouldn't be thrilled, but I would be willing to give the FO the benefit of the doubt.

But to trade UP for him while throwing in our 3rd, or even our high 4th? Either of those should be a starter quality player.

Oh, HELL no!
