According to the chart I'm looking at, trading from 5th in the 2nd round to 17th in round 2 is a difference of 120 points. The 17th pick in the 3rd is 113 and 17th in the 7th round is 7. So You would get a 3rd and maybe a 7th.
As far as TEs. Whatever McVay is comfortable with, so am I. Too much talent to get upset if they don't go with your guy (in my case Engram) so I would be more then ok with Everett.
As far as the 3rd round trade down, that works for a 4th. I l do not like Pocic one bit, but would be fine with Elfein, not sure in the 3rd. But since you are drafting from need I get it.
I avoid Jones like the plague, the Rams need depth and just are not in a position to draft guys that will not play this year and maybe not ever (at least at a decent level) let the Patriots or Seahawks or Cowboys draft and stash him.
I have doubts that Stewart is there in the 4th, but I am all over him if he is. I like both CBs in the 4th for different reasons as well.
No reason to draft a 3rd string RB in the 4th round. Specialist or not. Grab an OG or a S or a DE or edge LBer.
Everything rounds 5 thru 7 I do like.
Overall I get what you are trying to accomplish and you seemed to have done that, I would just add that you likely won't get that extra 4th from trading down in 2 and avoid Jones due to his injury.
Nicely done.
