Yes, Archuleta was (from my recollection) very good 2001-2003. It was his last two years as a Ram that he started to take some steps back.

AA had to play more nickel corner...and also look at who the FS was those years, Aeneas goes down in 2004 and Coady has to play FS and in 2005 we played a WR as FS... I don't think AA was a great player, but in a good defense, he's a guy you can win with as a SS/LBer hybrid. But yes, injuries also contributed to his leaving the NFL
