That Brady is 'absolutely' the GOAT. BUT... I don't vehemently disagree, nor am I making a case for Rodgers.
Lot of things go into making a great player... a great QB... and the NFL is not fair. Some QB's have distinct advantages over others that rise above their natural talents. I don't think many will disagree with that.
Just like everyone else I have my opinions... but one thing I 'know', (even if you disagree
), is that NO QB that ever played the game is the 'best at every single aspect of his position'.
My choice for best QB in a two minute drill may be far from my 'all around' choice. I'd be surprised, actually, that if one were to break down all the different elements of what a QB does that any ONE on that list, or any other list, I would rate 'best' in much more than 2 of those elements. And it goes without saying I'm not about to make any attempt to do that.
Many are going to make that decision based solely on SB Victories. Personally... and I could argue with myself on this - I think SB victories may be the 'least' telling of all the elements. It's certainly the most reliant on 'team'.
Brady is not my personal top choice.... but that said, I'm not about to consider anyone who thinks he is as being 'just plain wrong'.
