I think it's strictly a cap dollar crunch thing with Benny and GZ.
Both will have no trouble finding work in the NFL this year.

And Thomas? If you drop passes, you can't play for these new guys, even if you're a ST demon.
There are some other fringe players not yet named that will no doubt be replaced by this new staff before opening day, as well. This is a results oriented staff, no doubt. No more sacred cows.
