The draft process may reveal itself as it goes. Snead made it known that Fisher was in charge. My guess is that when the draft gets closer and probably more so when it is over, Snead will leave some clues as to "why" he made the picks he did.

Signing TruJo is a very Demoff move IMO... or perhaps "old regime" move (Fisher, Snead, Demoff). I would have been interested to see if McVay could have stopped it IF he wanted to. Would have loved to have seen the process there.

McVay made it clear why he wanted Johnson. It was so that Wade could evaluate what he had in him, as opposed to just starting over at corner.

That sounds to me like a coach listening to his defensive coordinator, and making the call accordingly.

This is all turning on what coaches want in their systems.

One thing NONE of this is set up to do.

And that's forcing players onto coaches who don't necessarily buy in.

It's coaches calls all the way.
