I was not too surprised by most of what I saw ... and there were only a couple of disappointments.
I'll do the disappointments first ...
Corey Clement needed to do better in speed and burst ...
Gallman I expected more explosion.
Redding could have done better in every drill ... but I still like how he plays on the field.
Foreman, Davis, Dayes, and Hood didn't run. Bummer.
Freak
Fournette ran a 4.5 at 240.
Joe Williams made a name for himself along with McNichols and Marlon Mack ... at 4.42, 4.48, and 4.50 respectively and good burst numbers at 210+ pounds. McNichols I thought was going to be a small back with great feet, a change of pace guy ... but he put on 30 pounds since his freshman year and lost very little speed. Quite impressive.
Hunt and Connor were never going to be burners ... they're beasts.so 4.66 and 4.62 is fine by me. 4.54 for
Brian HiIl at 6-1 219 and 4.58 by
Chris Carson at 220 was impressive with their burst numbers of 10+ broad.
Kamara and McCaffrey and Cook all did what was expected.
D'angelo Henderson was impressive at 5-7 208 and 4.48 and 10 foot broad ...
I'm seeing that we're going to have a likely opportunity art a quality back in the later rounds ... "who" is the question.
