The TE class has 2 types of players ... huge and mini ... Gronk and Jordan Reed ... very few in between. Their 40 times and agility will be pivotal.
TE
Pharoah Brown at 6-6 255 ... dang.
Howard, Hodges, Leggett, Shaheen .. all at 6-6 and 255+ (Shaheen at 275)
Jake Butt at 6-5 245 .. but injured.
Mike Roberts had 11.5 inch hands ... at 6-4 270 .. and honestly given his game film ... he's likely a 2nd-3rd round talent that could be had in the 5th or 6th.
Cole Hikutini at 6-4 247 was average sized along with Njoku at 6-4 246 and Kittle at 6-4 247.
The smaller kids ...
6-3 for Engram, Everett, Jonnu Smith, Cethan Carter and Darrel Daniels ... Engram had his weight up to 234 though ... that's a good sign if he can run 4.5 at that.
WR
No huge notes here ... just small things.
Notables
Mack Hollins and Bug Howard both 6-4 221 and big hands ... I'd be surprised if they didn't rise.
Dareus Rogers 6-1 210 and huge hands ... He'll rise and Smith-Schuster should drop.
Chad Hansen 6-2 202 (10.2 inch hands) ... Noah Brown 6-2 222
Josh Malone should rise too ... 6-3 208
Fred Ross was 6-1 210 after supposedly being smaller at the Senior Bowl ??
Seals-Jones is huge at 6-5 243
Taywan Taylor and Ardarius Stewart may have been the biggest losers on measurements coming in at 5-11
Malachai Dupre and Chris Godwin showed well at 6-2 195 and 6-1 209 ...
There are a LOT of decent sized kids who have a shot at being drafted anywhere from 50 - 250. Pretty exciting.
Billy Brown, Shepherd is a friggin TE!!! 6040, 255 lbs, 33 inch arms, and monster 10 3/8 hands. He's also possibly the most overlooked prospect in the draft right now.
TOTALLY agree on Mike Roberts. Another reason I love the TE crop this year.
Shaheen will shock most with how well he moves at that size.
Kenny Golladay surprised me a bit at 6040 in a good way. He and Mack Hollins have similar games and frames. Both should shine in the drills....especially with their hands.
Goodwin has booooooring measurements....awesome for the team that steals him.
