I'll agree with your direction.
The value of the draft seems to be where you've mentioned. The roster depletion at WR, and possibly CB if Trumaine leaves a year after the departure of Janoris Jenkins accelerates that issue, too.
I, too, defer to Paul and the guys here who spent unctuous amounts of time assessing youngsters.
Even having noted that, there are favorites I have. At TE I am not going to ignore Leggett, the Clemson kid. He came up big at the end of 2016 and 2015. Always want that in a player.
And there is the draft stock from last year that still has to be evaluated. Is Cooper, McRoberts, or Spruce going to truly blossom? Is Higbee?
it really goes slow here for a while until the combine.
Best part of being with this board is when our draft guys point to college kids to watch. Nothing did that better this last week than Cooper Kupp.
