I dunno, as you know I've been concerned all along about staffing.

I know you have and you take each staff member as a very serious building block for McVay to succeed sooner than later and of course long term.

This is also why I was hoping Wade would be involved big time (maybe behind closed doors he is) in selecting the rest of the defensive assistants.

The desired scenario is Wade has someone on the staff under him that he can pass the torch to when he retires. This is not to be taken lightly

Would hate for Wade to retire in 2 years and they bring a new DC with another different scheme etc.
