Saw this on Twitter this morning and my immediate reaction was Ughhhh.

His defenses in San Diego and Washington were not that good. I was actually shocked when he got the DC position in Washington.

I guess as LB coach that's fine but assistant HC? I hope not. They can do better.

I'll admit that I don't know squat about Joe Barry. At least not yet.

But here is something that I'm quite certain about.

Any and all D assistant coach hires will be a collaboration between McVay and the highly respected Phillips. McVay would NEVER select an asst coach for Phillips that did not enjoy Wade's full approval.

Sooooo...
