Moving a team to a City where it has no fan base. I grew up near LA and knew maybe two fans in my life in the area. One of them had moved up from SD.
The NFL is giving the good 'ole Spanos Family a bone after last year, I get that. But it just makes no sense. As posted, the Raider Fans will run amok there and they'll have to give tickets away to fill that Stadium. SD fans are so pzzd there will be only a few that will make the trek to LA each week.
Of all of the markets without a team that would love to have one, the NFL decides to put a team where no one wants it. SMH.
And before all of the stat guys jump on this to quote the Spanos LA Season Ticket Holder numbers, just Google "Los Angeles Chargers Fan".
