To me, means they have no clue what they are doing.
They have had nobody they have been watching and interested in should this come up.
And clearly they weren't planning on cutting Fisher given that they signed him to a multi year deal at the beginning of the season.
And I don't buy the part about "wouldn't have been fair to hang him out there without a contract and expect him to do his job". Ummm, yes, players play best in a contract year cuz you have to perform or you might be out of a job". Same goes for coaches.
I guess it's Demoff that doesn't have a clue, but regardless, we are in for another 10 year @#$%& show unless they get lucky.
