I agree. We need that GM or president that knows football. Who is that person? I don't know. I wish we would consult Ron Wolf about this. He or someone cut from the same cloth could do wonders for this franchise that definitely needs direction!
I just don't know what to think. I like Shanahan but maybe a vet coach like Peyton would be better. The key is making the right choice this time. I can live with Peyton if there is a strong GM brought in and a good defensive coach (not Williams). We just don't know what's going on behind the scenes. Very frustrating.
