Whether you liked Dick or not, his tenure resulted in our only Super Bowl win. Since then, things have not gone so well with the men that have been entrusted with leading this team. Hiring a good, solid head coach is probably more uncertain than drafting the right quarterback. I have gotten excited in the past when the Rams hired what just about everyone thought was the best available coach (Spagnuolo, Fisher) and then watched the franchise sink further into the quagmire. It doesn't matter who they hire now, I'll get excited when I see some tangible results. Not a moment before. That never works.
