RS can play anywhere but center. He has value. I think asking pro athletes how they feel after a loss is very dumb. Either they give some lame we'll get them next time which sounds like they don't care enough or they lash out with a true feeling and sound like they hate their team. Lose, lose. So they asked Goff, who said the right thing which is we didn't play well enough but he promises he'll work hard to help the team improve. Got is actually a smart kid who was on a 1-10 college team and did turn it around. RS has been on seven straight losing Rams teams. These teams have been embarrassing. His unit has been embarrassing. He is dejected and is asked by a hack about Goff's comments. And he said what he said which is we'll see.
I have no problem with that. RS realizes we were 4-12. He probably thought that he would finally be on a winning team. Yes, he's been paid a lot during his career, but probably wants to play in the playoffs. I think after a couple days off soaking in the hot tub he'll gain perspective. He'll get a new HC. He'll get a new OC. He'll get a new OL Coach. He'll get new OL to play beside. He'll lift weights like a mad man and still be one of the strongest guys in the league. He'll get ready for 2017. He'll learn the new system and maybe even like it. He'll see TG display his old blinding speed. He'll see Goff Looking like a first pick. He'll see an improved Rams squad in the exhibition season. And then, ask him about the team. I'll bet you'll get a more optimistic quote.
