this would be a great moment for them to stretch, and get a unique group together
the safeguard is especially well timed as they can structure anyone they bring in with an escape clause. if it doesn't work out, they can eject and start new in 3 years. btw, I think the stadium may not be ready until the 2020 season. 3 years may not be on the contracts, but the owner knows better than keep failing returns on the payroll with such a large gamble on the line.
in many ways, new coach, new QB, new GM lead to a win, win. Success and keep them all.
