Besides the BEAUTIFUL uniforms the Rams will sport this evening, this organization is an embarrassment.
To be 4-9 after a 3-1 start and losing the last three games by an average of 24 points, firing the coach who was given an extension then a "leak" led to people thinking it was recently signed and it actually was done in a way I think makes sense (you get to continue coaching when we see the results of 2016, and 4-9 proved it was time for a change).
The #1 pick has been given a overwhelmed coaching staff, outdated playbook, receivers who drop about 3-5 catchable balls a game or worse have them bounce off their chests for pick sixes and back-breaking game changers, an offensive line that is a sieve, and a RB in a terrible slump. My gosh, he might have been better off going to a team that had the #1 pick; they are playing like it.
They have had the Eric Dickerson Embarrassment, the coach setting the all-time loss record, and they are the big story for the poorly rated TNF games as a punch line, not as a real story.
The Rams in less than one year are a punchline after 21 years away from LA.
Think about that.
Will this ever change?
If they get a real leader and a culture change, yes.
With the Chargers probably coming, this hire is so much more significant than a normal hire.
If they want to stop being a running joke and fodder for other teams fans to laugh at and the homecoming opponent like they will likely be embarrassed tonight, they need a sea change.
Sigh.
Well, at least the uniforms are gorgeous.
