And of course when they drafted Goff they thought they already HAD the run game and the defense.
If this is an example of this guy's wisdom...I'm skeptical if he has anything of value to say.

Those two things are not mutually exclusive. But the overall message of what Lombardi says I can get behind. The entire organization needs to be in sync and you've got to have "football people" making the "football decisions." I like Demoff as he seems like a really good guy, but maybe it would be better for the product on the field if he wasn't in the role he's in. I think we need a "football guy" in that role.
