Kroenke needs to wake TFU and hire a proven winning NFL executive to run his show for him and do the hiring, while throwing Demoff back in the bean counter room along with his PR expertise.
Guys Wolf and Polian are getting long in the tooth and I`m not sure those would be the particular guys I would want for the job, but IMO this type of position needs to be addressed first and foremost before any head coach that's once again given full control. That full control thing almost never works out and its easy to see why.
I love the passionate coaches like Harbaugh (not leaving Michigan) and Gruden, but their emotions many times get the better of them and I wouldn't be confident in them for the long term success of this or any club. These egomaniacs come and go and if things don't go well early, things can fall apart quickly. If they can get you a Super Bowl within a few years then great, if not then not so good.
