The QBs with the Chiefs get better. Not worse and Foles was one of them.
As was Alex Smith, who finally make his mark as an NFL QB after years.
Part of Fisher's problems is he gets offensive players to play below their capabilities. In fact, he is a good coach in most areas. He is just horrific on offense.
And no that is not an opinion. It is a documented fact that offenses play poorly under fisher with a declining offense each year as he continues to add more talented pieces that don't live up to their talent.
All I have to do is post a couple of links with the stats. That is what has happened.
Foles did indeed meltdown with the Rams and it's demonstrable. You want the details? Cause the details are easy.
But the minute it happened, and he got benched, I started (and continued) saying this---who knows if he can come back from it. Because on paper anyway nothing ruled that out as a possibility. It just wasn't going to be with the Rams (at least in part because IMO there were some behind the scenes things too that ruled him out of the Rams future).

Can he get it back? Technically, yes, but, there’s no guarantees by any means. Often in different careers entering into a sustained meltdown mode means the guy is just a back-up from that point on.
And so far we still don't know--he has had one game really, with the coach who drafted him. Is he "back" to the consistent level he was in early 2015, before he melted down?
Now what's a meltdown? A qb who has been at least consistently okay--which Foles was from 2014 through early 2015---falls apart. In consecutive starts he plays at a clearly subpar level and you can also see the lack of confidence and the struggles that come with it. He has to be benched. It happened with Schaub in Houston and Austin Davis in his last 3 Rams starts.
There is no reason to think it's permanent. Personally I think it was Foles dealing with a combination of things in 2015.
So I don't read this as part of the (to me) bogus Fisher kills qbs theories some people promote.
Again, if a qb completely tanks for a lot of reasons, can he return from it? Well it has happened before (see Warner before he got benched in 2004 v. Warner with Arizona). Now people can say if they want that to Wisenhunt's clear superiority as a coach to Coughlin...but, I just think the player hit a wall and had to come back. Some do some don't.
