JG does have happy/active feet and until he gets paired with the right experienced, professional quarterback coach/es that focuses on this flaw with him, he's going to continue making unnecessary high throws as well as the inaccurate off target ones that followed him from the University of California.
Just by his natural God given nature (physical style of play) JG will always have bouncing, active feet but this can be tamed some and corrected if the right staff (quarterback coach) can get a hold of him sooner than later.
I don't want to bash the daylights out of Weinke but I never liked the idea of him being JG's mentor in his rookie season. Boras is another story by itself.
This kid was already behind the eight-ball coming from the Bear Raid Spread and the bad habits with his feet/footwork need to be correctly coached by someone that excels in this area..
(bad habits with lazy back foot planting, off balance tendencies, happy feet, erratic, frenetic wasted movement)
This is detrimental for JG to get it corrected sooner than later or he will snail along trying to reach his maximum potential as an NFL quarterback.
Obviously it will be just as important hiring the correct quarterback coach and OC, as it will be the HC. (easier said than done from the armchair position)
