what in the world were they thinking??? 4 years of losing, questions marks everywhere, questionable picks, an offense dead last or close to it
and they extend him? Big mistake there and they are paying for it.
They should have seen how the season went.....midway or so made a decision. Lets see terrible record again, top of the league in penalties,
horrific offense. Then - make a decision to extend or terminate at the end of the season. Seems reasonable. He Jeff we are not renewing your contract
because you have not done a good job over the last 5 years. I don't get the didn't want lame duck coach....look at the mess now, it is even worse.
Making the extension based on a terrible team with a bad history and then not announcing it....ridiculous. Makes the organization look inept
and that is why the local and national media are laughing at the Rams.
