IF they finished strong I could actually wrap my head around Plan A. But as I posted somewhere else if you go that route you really need to commit to two years.

Because if it's just a "we'll try this for 2017" (a) the pool of quality OCs that would be interested probably goes down and much more importantly (b) the risk is if it doesn't work and you then decline Fisher's 2018 option, etc. and start over then Goff will be on his 3rd OC in three years in 2018. And that cannot happen.

Maybe Groh is a guy that has to be kept (as WRs coach) to be a bit of a bridge for Goff to the next OC.
