im certain there is a lot of sentiment to blow the coaching staff up but lets weigh the pros and cons.
if you wan to blow it up you have to think about a replacement. if you get rid of fisher who do you get? i would think that kroenke can attract a quality candidate. hes got the money, la is attractive and we have a young qb and rb to build a team around. but again...who do you get. a young offensive mind? a college coach? a retread? all come with some risk. there is no sure thing. see any number of hot coaches that have flopped when given the chance.
so do you stick with the known commodity who is average (i.e. 7-9) and maybe team him with an top notch coordinator? im sure there is not a lot of sentiment for that but it does come with some benefits. while the last 2 outings have been less then good, i still believe this defense is pretty good especially if it had an average offense. it would keep goff in a stable environment. we keep fassel.
that being said, im sure most of you have little faith that fisher will ever get creative on offense and im not sure that you are wrong. however, im not entirely sure its the scheme and not necessarily the players (in particular, the line).
the bottom line is that i dont know the right answer. and i think that those that want fisher gone without considering the alternatives are too reactionary. its a really tough choice imo.
maybe i do this...i give fisher the option. go get a top notch coordinator and let him run the offense like you let GW run the defense. if you cant agree to that, youre gone.

Blow up offensive staff....Bring in new NFL OC with all new coaches and system. It will be tough on Goff and "O" but IMHO, suck it up and get it done.
Thus, we stay 2/3's in tact and 1/3 new stuff on offense.
Plan B.........
Get out the dynamite, blow it up. Fisher is out and we start over. New staff, new HC, new ideas, new system.
New evaluation of out roster.
Sit and think a while before you post. Where will we be better off in a year from now? Plan A or Plan B? Then, let's here some ideas of what you would do, who you would hire, ect?
