Rampage2K-
Fisher was already gone, but now it looks like ED is going to follow him.
I'm all for him "telling it like it is" and expressing his displeasure, but when you are employed by the Rams and are supposed to be an ambassador for the team in coming back to LA and help grow the fan base and bring a positivity and energize a fan base maybe you should tone it down, maybe a notch or two.
He said it himself "he expected it" so that tells me right there he had some clue the Rams weren't happy with his act, yet kept it up and when someone finally told him what He was "expecting" he runs to the radio station and ESPN to further embarrass a team??? This team doesn't need any help with that if you haven't noticed ....
If I'm the owner or CEO I'd be pretty bummed out by Eric's act, he was supposed to help build the brand, not tear it down.... You get this guy back in the limelight and he uses it to @#$%& on you.
I don't expect either of them on the Rams sideline next year....really sucks, cuz Eric is by far one of my favorites and was a great Rambassador while it lasted.
Strongly disagree, Rampage.
In fact, the new HC will not only welcome ED back on the sidelines with open arms, the FO will probably send a limo to pick him up. Lol.
The Rams have got to grovel in an attempt to win the hearts and minds of their ticket and PSL buying fan base.
This is now a PR thing. Forget about who was "right" or "wrong". That issue no longer matters.
Yes I'm sure the Rams are going to do everything they can to patch this thing up with Eric, but I'm sure there has been plenty of trust lost with him... I'm sure this will all be settled well before the Harbaugh is even hired.
