I like the idea they talked about on Mike&Mike this morning of going to Thursday Night games just from Thanksgiving through week 16 when college football has died down. Plus just give the team playing Thursday Night their bye week the week before. So you'd have 5 weeks with Thursday games and just 6-7 total games.

Personally I would ditch the 3rd Thanksgiving game too. Just get back to the Detroit and Dallas games during the day.
