I haven't watched a single minute of a Thursday night game so far and will only watch the Rams game this year (for the umpteenth consecutive season).

That being said the NFL could address the short-week, crappy-product issue simply by giving teams their bye the week before they play on Thursdays. (10 days off before their Thursday game, another 9 days off afterwards). I know that wouldn't work early in the season or late in the season when teams aren't having bye weeks but why wouldn't the NFL do that the rest of the year?
