in that they tease coaches with their talent and what they show in practice, but somehow never come through in a game, or they fail in critical moments.
So too, Fisher seems to me to be a "franchise killer" as a coach.
His teams' performances and win patterns give an illusion that the team is always on the verge of a breakthrough, and about to turn the corner.
But every time the corner is turned, it seems there is just another corner there.
Well it could be, i don't have any final answers or final thoughts. I just kinda 'wonder' about all these ideas.
My brain is like a screwed up kaleidoscope when it comes to figuring out fisher and this team.
In the end, i dunno what Fisher is, or what happened to this team -- allz-i-know iz I'm done
I go no easy 'answers' as to what happened. I mean this guy won 13 games with the Titans, etc.
The 'fisher is awful' or 'fisher is an idiot' or 'fisher is out of touch'(they said that about DV in 98) just dont
satisfy me. Even the criticisms of penalties and 'lack of discipline' aren't dispositive to me because i still remember the old Madden Raiders. They were outlaws on the field and off, but they still won. So, i dunno how important all that 'discipline' stuff really is........i'm still done, though. Its year five and its still a mess.
Its all about Goff now, for me as a fan.
