One factor in Kroenke's decision could be that it is looking like this year there will be fewer vacancies than in recent years. 6 weeks to go and maybe I'm wrong, but look around the league and how many teams are going to fire coaches? Cleveland and San Francisco are the bottom two teams and they're not.
Jacksonville? Maybe the Jets? Maybe Cincinnati if they really tank? San Diego possibly? In the NFC there's a little speculation about McCarthy in Green Bay but not sure I believe that. Fox out in Chicago?
Rams could very well not only be the prime choice if Fisher is gone but one of only 4-5 openings period.
