Leading to his and Les' immediate demise? If so, that's a terrible way to build for the future. Don't play the kid cause he might make me look bad. I expect even if Goff plays the team will continue to lose. But I'd rather we lose with Goff - warts and all - then win a few games with Keenum to keep us at .500 and straight into the offseason with our future QB getting zero game reps.
I get you hate Fisher and want him out there. That's your opinion and you have a right to it. I am incredibly impressed with the variety of ways you express your hated for him on the board. Just amazing and kudos to you.
Fisher has repeatedly said Goff isn't ready but that he's improving. I know it works better for you if he's lying to save his job, but consider that there's a chance he's telling the truth. I know you'd rather lose with Goff than win but Fisher, the GM, the owner and the majority of Rams fans would rather win games while Goff continues to improve. He'll be the starting QB when Fisher thinks he's ready, you'll just have to accept that. Or keep riding that pony if it helps you.
You see Fisher not playing Goff as a pathetic attempt to save his job. I see it as doing what's best long term for the QB and the franchise.
But don't worry - you're got a win-win coming up. When Goff finally plays he's either going to be pretty good or pretty bad. If he's bad, you'll have plenty to post about with the trade, the coach not being able to develop a QB, etc. But if he's good, why didn't Fisher play him earlier? (My answer would be because Goff wasn't good earlier, but I am sure you will have a different answer. Maybe like... he was not starting Goff to put his job in jeopardy? Sorry, I know that's lame, I just don't have the fundamental hatred for Fisher that you do, so I can't come up with your future reason. But you'll do fine on your own, I am sure.)
