Here are Tavon's career stats.

Please note his '16 stats. The numbers are pretty underwhelming despite his increased targets. Not standing out as a WR, PR, or RB this year. What kind of "all purpose" weapon has he been this year, really?
Three questions...
1) They seem to be trending downward, don't they?
2) Are these really the kind of numbers expected from a $42 million extended player?
3) Why would Fisher force feed Tavon at the expense of targets to Britt, Quick, and Kendricks? Not to mention maybe Spruce, Cooper, and Higbee?
Gurley is down. Austin is down. Britt is up. Kendrick is up.
It's obvious when they are giving it to Gurley. It's clear when it's Austin time to get his quick hit. First down Gurley. Second down Austin. Who benefits from stopping those two? The cipher is there. The variables have not changed. The offense is decoded and the secondary options are the lesser worry.
