In my opinion it starts with Keenum. If he keeps playing well and they remain in contention he stays in. If or when one of those two breaks down then make the change.

But here's another perspective. And one that I subscribe to, FWIW.

As we speak, Keenum projects to an 8-8 QB. The very definition of average (for those offended by the term mediocrity).

We are currently ranked #31 as an O.

We didn't trade up for Goff while spending 6 premium picks in the process just to have him try to "learn" on the sideline for the whole season. At least I HOPE not.

We're already losing winnable games with Keenum.

Goff is clearly our long term future. So the question comes down to WHEN, not IF Fisher should make the QB change. A business decision, IOW.

After the bye seems like an optimal time to me.
