If anyone still wonders if the Rams are heavily into audibles and checking into/out of plays depending on the defensive look, that's it right there...RS says it.

In fact it's the reason they ran less. Not the original playcalls from upstairs. They checked out of runs at the LOS based on pre-snap looks.

AND if anyone still wonders why Goff was slow to adapt to this offense, that's one of the reasons right there. Think how much he has to know to make those calls at the LOS. It's not just the Rams playbook, it's seeing defenses. He did not have to do any of that in college.
