Bruce had Martz
That alone means you are going to be much better
but the comparison I was making was in the context of injury. Sometimes people do get healthy again. Bruce had a couple of down years in 1997 and 1998 before Martz returned and he got healthy.
Compare Watkins injury years to Bruce's injury years.
1997 - 815 yards
1998 - 457 yards
2014 - 982 yards
2015 - 1047 yards
Maybe he plays all 16 games healthy next year.
To me, this acceptance of being #32 in offense by so many Rams fans and a QB with a 66 QB rating and this has gone on for 48 games over the past 3 years and we want to call the 49er game a bump in the road and we don't care that we haven't had a higher end WR in 10 years that even has come close to what Watkins did while injured on a bad offensive team, with an unknown QB, in a bad weather city.
To me, simply amazing of fans being so accepting of the status quo of no playoffs since 1990 except for the teams Martz coached that by chance happened to have good WRs.
