I understand your logic, it's the same logic that dictates when you take a three point shot vs two point. But then the analytics proved that logic is wrong over time. It's possible analytics are changing this logic as well. It's not situational anymore it's statistical. With that said, if it is sound analytics I suspect we will see a lot more 2pt tries that don't fit traditional logic this year.
