Fortunately it didn't come back to bite us in the butt.
Without the extra point we had an 11 point lead which Tampa could have tied us with a TD, 2 point conversion, and a FG. If we kick the extra point, we go up by 12, forcing them to score 2 TDs. I didn't see the logic AT ALL in going for 2 there. Thank the football gods that it didn't backfire on us.
There's a time to be aggressive and there's a time to be smart. I think that time was a time to be smart.
